Juniper thinning begins on Crooked River National Grassland to reduce wildfire risk

The Ochoco National Forest has begun juniper thinning on the Crooked River National Grassland as part of a broader effort to reduce wildfire risk and restore ecosystem health, the Forest Service announced Thursday.
