She worked for nearly 30 years at Shari’s; now she’s out of a job
Dianna Siel-Hurlic, known to regulars as Dee Dee, was in tears when her manager broke the news to her over the phone that her job of nearly 30 years at Shari’s was over.

The restaurant chain closed all its stores in Oregon this week after "failing to meet financial obligations" to the Oregon Lottery.

In this interview, Dee Dee also talks about how singer-songwriter Jonah Marais recently invited her to one of his concerts while he was a customer at Shari’s.
