Police: Parent of Pilot Butte Middle School student who brought gun to school cited

One of the parents of a 12-year-old student who brought a loaded handgun to Pilot Butte Middle School Monday was cited for improper storage of a firearm, police said Tuesday. Some parents say the punishment should be more harsh.
