Shari’s closes all Oregon restaurants amid failure to pay for lottery equipment

A chain breakfast restaurant in Oregon is shuttering all locations after"failing to meet financial obligations" to the Oregon Lottery.
On Tuesday, the Oregon Lottery confirmed the information first reported by The Oregonian that Shari’s CafĂ© and Pies shuttered all statewide locations as of Sunday.
Headquartered in Beaverton, the chain is popular for its late-night food and pies but also brought in millions of dollars in Oregon Lottery revenue through its gambling machines.
