Neighbors on Southeast Clinton Street worry about kids’ bus stop walk

1 min read

Neighbors complain about homeless vehicles lining Southeast Clinton Street near 136th Avenue, and now they are worried about their kids who walk past the vehicles on their way to a bus stop.

The street was where Kenny Housman, known as the neighborhood sheriff, was stabbed to death in July.

Housman once told KATU that he determined which homeless campers could stay on Clinton Street and who had to go.

Three months later, the street is still lined with homeless RVs and other vehicles. Some neighbors told us, since the death of Housman, things have gotten worse here.
