1 min read
The Lighthouse employs nearly 800 people, from the clock making factory (where 80 percent of the workers are legally blind) and manufacture tens of thousands of clocks a year, to the call center (where a third of the operators are legally blind), and pick up the phone to help customers schedule appointments with the DMV or the doctor’s office.
But, among the hundreds of workers at the Lighthouse’s West Side building, it’s guide dogs Turner and Gaston, just may be the two most popular employees.
