‘Making good progress’: Pine Fire at 7,000 acres, showing no significant growth

The fire is located southeast of Bend, south of Highway 20 and south of Pine Mountain in the Kotzman Basin. Bureau of Land Management Prineville District Manager Amanda Roberts told Central Oregon Daily she’s confident the fire was human-caused as there was no lightning Monday.
