2 people shot dead at North Portland La Mota cannabis shop

Two people were shot and killed at a North Portland cannabis store late Thursday night, the Portland Police Bureau reports.

On October 3, officers were sent to a report of a shooting at cannabis shop La Mota in the 9400 block of North St. Louis Avenue around 9:39 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found two people dead. Police say a person "believed to be involved" remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
