‘It was too late’: Flood survivor recalls Hurricane Helene inundation that swept 11 coworkers away

The Tennessee Occupational Safety and Health Administration (TOSHA) says they are investigating a factory in rural Tennessee after floodwaters from Helene swept 11 of their workers away.

TOSHA says the current investigation by the TBI into the circumstances that led to these deaths supersedes the jurisdiction of TOSHA.

Investigators from TOSHA will work with TBI and local officials to determine when they can begin an on-site inspection.
