FBI data shows huge drop in violent crime in Portland

The FBI has released new data showing a significant drop in violent crimes nationally and in Portland

The FBI received the data from police departments across most of the U.S.

Compared to the same timeframe in 2023, Portland in 2024 has seen hundreds fewer crimes against a person – and thousands fewer property crimes.
