Group of people and pets stand in chest-high water inside a North Carolina home 

A group of North Carolina residents found themselves wading in chest-deep water inside a home in Hendersonville last week, after over 30 inches of rain fell across parts of the state within just a few days. The storm claimed at least 177 lives, with many still missing.
