Major Crimes Team investigates officer-involved shooting in Milwaukie

The Clackamas County Major Crimes Unit is investigating an early-morning officer-involved shooting in Milwaukie.

The Milwaukie Police Department says on September 30, Milwaukie officers were involved in a traffic investigation at the 11000 block of SE Oak St around 12:55 a.m.

During this investigation, the MPD says at least one officer fired their gun at a suspect, striking him.

The agency says the suspect was taken to the hospital.

The Clackamas County Major Crimes team and the Clackamas County District Attorney’s office are investigating the scene.
