Fast-moving, human-caused Oregon wildfire grows to 10K acres, zero containment

Following high winds, high temperatures, and low relative humidity yesterday, the Larch Creek Fire jumped across Highway 197 and continued its fast-moving growth to the east, expanding to over 10,000 acres overnight and into Thursday morning, according to the Oregon Department of Forestry and the Oregon State Fire Marshal.
By Thursday afternoon, the fire was still 0 percent contained and 700 homes were evacuated.
