Human-caused Larch Creek Fire explodes to 10,000 acres in Wasco County

Following high winds, high temperatures, and low relative humidity Wednesday, the Larch Creek Fire jumped across Highway 197 and continued its fast-moving growth to the east.
The fire has grown to over 10,000 acres overnight and into Thursday morning, according to the Oregon Department of Forestry and the Oregon State Fire Marshall.
