Hurricane Helene now ‘extremely dangerous’ Category 4 packing 130 mph winds as it moves north

As of 6 p.m., Thursday, the National Hurricane Center said Hurricane Helene had strengthened to an “extremely dangerous” Category 4 storm with maximum sustained winds of 130 mph with gusts up to 155 mph.
