Oregon’s record wildfire season prompts $47.5 million emergency funding request

The Oregon Department of Forestry is requesting emergency funding to pay for the most expensive wildfire season Oregon has ever seen.

Because of the extreme fire season, ODF will likely have to go back to the emergency board in December.

Almost two million acres burned from wildfires in Oregon.
