KATU hosts Portland City Council District 1 forum

On Monday, Sept. 23, KATU News in partnership with Willamette University will be holding a forum with Portland City Council District 1 candidates.

The forum will be livestreamed on KATU.com and on our YouTube channel, starting at 11 a.m.

There are 16 candidates running in District 1. Six of them have agreed to appear in Monday’s forum.

They are Candace Avalos, Loretta Smith, Steph Routh, Terrence Hayes, Timer Ender, and Jamie Dunphy.

District 1 encompasses parts of Northeast Portland to the airport and 82nd Avenue to the city line.
