One man was killed and six men were wounded late Saturday night when a shooting erupted during a prayer vigil in the Little Village neighborhood on the city’s Southwest Side. According to Chicago police, a prayer vigil was being held in the front yard of a residence in the 2500 block of South Spaulding Avenue when, just after 10 p.m. Saturday, a jeep stopped on the street and someone exited and started firing multiple shots.
