Tropics update: 4th tropical disturbance pops up in Atlantic as depression could form next week in G

A fourth tropical disturbance formed in the Atlantic Ocean on Saturday, as the 2024 Atlantic hurricane season hits peak season. A tropical depression could form late next week in the Gulf of Mexico from a potential disturbance in the Caribbean Sea. If it becomes a storm, it would be known as Tropical Storm Helene, the eighth named storm of the 2024 season.
