Portland Fire battling wildfire near North Fessenden Street

Portland Fire is on the scene of a wildfire in north Portland, just off Fessenden Street where it crosses the railroad tracks.

Smoke is visible from our camera on the US Bancorp Tower.

Portland Fire says they believe the fire is contained in a pile of railroad ties next to a vehicle on fire.

Access to the fire is limited due to the terrain, Portland Fire said.

ATV’s are being used to get hoses down to the fire.
