The jury deliberated for four hours before reaching a verdict in Laurie Shaver’s trial. Laurie Shaver was found guilty of second-degree murder in her husband, Michael’s, death in 2015. Prosecutors alleged Laurie killed her husband, buried him under a fire pit and concrete slab, then pretended to be him to friends and family using his cell phone and social media account.
