Portland Public Schools’ directive banning ‘personal or political’ displays gets backlash

Administrators at Portland Public Schools have adopted a new directive that prevents teachers from displaying “personal or political” messages on the walls of their classrooms.
The directive says that teachers can only display messages related to the curriculum or PPS-related content.
The teachers union calls the directive "unworkable."
