Astronaut from Oregon, Don Pettit, arrives at International Space Station on Soyuz rocket

A Soyuz spacecraft carrying two Russians and an American from Silverton, Oregon docked at the International Space Station on Wednesday, a little more than three hours after its launch.

It is Pettit’s fourth trip to the ISS.

KATU News spoke to him in May about his upcoming mission and about some of the work he’ll be doing during his six-month mission.
