Estacada, Oregon resident recalls 2020 wildfires as heat wave looms

In Estacada, tree trunks are still scorched and surrounding forests have bald spots from trees that were burned down during the wildfires in 2020.
"It took out everything. We evacuated for 28 days — majority of the people here ended up in Milwaukie,” David Banaka, an Estacada RV park resident, said.
