Catching up with Easton Corbin: He plays the Roseland Theater Sept. 5

County artist Easton Corbin will be headlining a show at Portland’s Roseland Theater on Thursday, September 5.

Corbin calls himself a traditional-sounding country artist. “I’m proud to be a flagbearer for traditional country music and that’s what they’re gonna get out there. It’s authentic and real and I think the fans are going to love it.”

Corbin found immediate success with his first single “A Litte More Country Than That” when it went number one on the county charts in 2010. The follow-up single, “Roll With It,” also went to number one.

The Florida native moved to Nashville in 2006. Corbin tells KATU News that he loves touring on the West Coast. “When we do get out here, I’m excited, the fans are super excited, it tends to be a pretty wild show.”

Corbin says he was working on new music and hopes to have it out to fans very soon. Tickets are still available for his show at the Roseland Theatre.
