Plane hit power line in deadly Fairview, Oregon crash: ‘I just saw this big ball of fire’

Three people are dead after a small plane crashed into a residential neighborhood near Troutdale Airport on Saturday morning. According to officials, the victims include two people onboard the plane and one person in a home.

Just before the crash, air traffic controllers urged the pilot to change altitude immediately as it flew over Troutdale. Witnesses tell KATU the plane hit nearby power lines, before crashing.
