Holden LeCroy: Fall-like Labor Day is done, triple-digits return this week. Weak area of low pressure that moved in on Monday and brought clouds and mist is passing off to the east, replaced with high pressure and building heat this week. 80s on Tuesday, 90s Wednesday and eventually 100° expected for all valleys by Thursday with 80° on the Oregon Coast with wall-to-wall sunshine. This could very well be our last stretch of summer heat for this season- Longterm, a permanently cooler pattern and precipitation chances appear to be more favorable by next week. Change as soon as Sunday with clouds and cooler temperatures but fall shower chances possible by September 10th.
