Portland Police shares details on enforcement of new drug law starting September 1

1 min read

Portland Police Chief Bob Day announced the actions police officers will take starting Sept 1, when Oregon’s law re-criminalizing small amounts of hard drugs takes effect.

It also allows violators to enter into a deflection program run by counties, where they can avoid jail.
