Beaverton police shoot and kill a person outside shopping center

Beaverton police shot and killed a man Monday night outside Nordstrom Rack on Southwest Cascade Avenue across Highway 217 from the Washington Square Mall, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

Police were called just before 8 p.m. on a report of a theft at the store. Employees said they saw a man stealing merchandise.
