Holden LeCroy: Heat wave set for next 3 days, much cooler by Monday. High pressure is building offshore and will result in summer-like temperatures into the weekend, up to near 95-degrees at times. Cooler weather is expected by Monday with clouds, mist and even the possibility of a few showers. A second heatwave is also looking likely though, towards September 8th or so. Longterm, permanently cooler weather and precipitation chances appear to be more favorable by mid-September with all weather outcomes supporting it.
