Parents plead for people to come forward in shooting death of son at Sellwood park

The parents of a 20-year-old man killed in a July shooting are pleading with the public to come forward if they know something.

It happened July 12 at Sellwood Riverfront Park.

It’s been 39 days since Asher Mendes was shot and killed there after attending a party with friends. And now his parents are asking anyone who saw anything to report it to the police.
