Dancing with the Doctors for children’s cancer research

The 2nd Annual Maya Dronca Foundation Dancing with the Doctors to Benefit Pediatric Cancer is taking over the dance floor and one will win the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy. Dr. Roxana Dronca, Maya’s mother and a medical oncologist at Mayo Clinic and the Chair of the Division of Hematology-Oncology, as well as the Site Director of the Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center in Florida, talked to News4JAX during the Morning Show on Saturday about Maya and the dancing event, which was created in honor of her daughter who passed away from a brain tumor in April 2021.
