Multnomah County approves hybrid model for AMR

American Medical Response’s new hybrid model is now in effect — one EMT and one paramedic are now responding to certain calls.
AMR and the county were at odds for months over a staffing model amid a paramedic shortage. Vega Pederson had been opposed to changing the model of ambulances being staffed by two paramedics.
