Harley Kelley: Student surgeon at OSU to Captain in the Vietnam War

Harley Kelley was studying to become a surgeon at Oregon State College (Now Oregon State University) in the 1950s. Instead of following that career path, he was drafted into the Vietnam War as a Captain. Kelley then returned to serve in the Persian Gulf War in 1991. He attempted to re-enlist again at the age of 61 but was denied.
