Strong onshore flow from an upper-atmosphere trough of low pressure will lead to a cooler pattern all the way into next week. This pattern will eventually lead to shower chances for everyone as early as Friday afternoon, but that could also mean lightning for some in the Cascades. Not a widespread lightning potential with a better possibility of a steadier rain than lightning in the higher terrain. Cooler pattern will continue into next week with warmest temperatures only at about 85-degrees as high pressure remains parked to the south.
