Driver killed in fatal car crash in Archer Heights on city’s Southwest Side overnight

A male driver was killed in a car crash overnight in Archer Heights on the city’s Southwest Side. According to Chicago police, the male was driving south in a silver sedan in the 3600 block of West 47h Street around 1:30 a.m. Sunday when he disregarded a traffic light entering an intersection. A white SUV driven by another male and going north then struck the silver sedan, police say.
