Authorities say they have arrested a 21-year-old Oregon man they say is the ringleader of a multi-state car theft ring involving newer American muscle cars.
Law enforcement officials from multiple agencies in Oregon and Washington arrested Aric Wade Adams on Thursday, Aug. 8, at his home in Central Point, a town southeast of Grants Pass.
According to the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office, investigators mostly used social media to identify Adams as the suspect in four incidents in Portland involving vehicles, such as Dodge Challengers and Chevrolet Camaros in March and April.
